From building robots and drones to creating experiences that makes technology easier to use, I am both innovative and practical

Drawing from my background as an electrical engineer, I possess a unique ability to fluently communicate across design and engineering teams. This strength helps me ensure seamless integration of innovative concepts into practical solutions. Even though I prefer to take data driven decisions, I’m very comfortable reconciling business and user needs.

I've previously spent time building design systems at ABB and Hitachi Energy, where I optimized production processes for greater engineering efficiency. I also have design experience in the life sciences and home automation spaces.

I've recently graduated from my masters in Human Computer Interaction from Indiana University. I'm currently looking to work with dynamic product teams and I'm open to relocation.

A series of events helped me get here

2019

A "failed" passion project

I built a system to make the process of documenting coffee harvest quantities more autonomous. The system was robust but it failed to be adopted. Why? Because I did not account for the lack of tech-savviness of my target users.

2021

A design system of sorts

During my time at Hitachi Energy, I built a "design system" to standardise the engineering process of all global products. The cross-functional collaboration and experience with global product teams enticed me towards building products.

2022

Career change and my search for an identity

My master's program in HCI had me desperately trying to build an identity as a designer and a tangible set of valuable skills.

2023

My first UX internship!

I joined Spaero Bio, a startup in the life sciences space, where I got to work on a product and industry that I was very new to. My ability to quickly learn the nuances of the product gave me confidence in my ability to fit into any industry.

2024

Graduation and the search for what's next?

More learning, more collaborating, more creating.

Be uncomfortable

I constantly put myself in situations that force me to improvise and "just do it". This has given me a lot of confidence in my ability to adapt to different situations.

Be a lifetime learner

I have multiple interests and try to improve at all of them. My curious nature has helped me hold my own in any conversation. I know a little about a lot and I am proud of that.

Always ask questions

To me, there is no such thing as a stupid question. When I'm stuck, I speak to people smarter than me.

People like talking about themselves so asking questions means we all win.

My mindset for everything

If I don’t know, I will find out

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment
